phone etiquette

So Pat... I would like to give you a lesson on proper phone etiquette... Now, I can deal with the not answering the phone thing and the never calling me back thing (well, to a point anyway)... BUT, if you are in the middle of a conversation with someone, mid-sentence, and for some reason or another, you get disconnected, the proper action to take after such an event has occurred would be to CALL THE PERSON BACK!!!!!!! Seriously... or at least answer the phone when said person attempts to call you back... multiple times... and leaves messages...

i suck at this

So I went to this staff appreciation event after class tonight. I got there late and I missed most of it but that's not important. I was hanging around for a little bit afterwards talking to a couple of people and whatever. A coworker of mine introduced me to her partner. I was freaking shocked, I swear I think my jaw hit the floor. I had no idea at all that Sarah was gay at all. I mean, I've worked just down the hall from her for like 10 months now and I've never had a clue.

Just goes to show how bad my gaydar is. Anyway, thought you would get a kick out of that Pat.
