Pat, This is actually the first I've heard about these two things... I read an article a while back about AT&T giving the NSA warrantless access to phone records and such, but nothing about secret rooms and the re-write of the privacy policy. They tend not to say anything to us about this kind of stuff.... and if they do, it's usually in defense of the company (obviously). I'll have to go back and re-read some of the company-wide emails that they send out every week (that I usually don't read) and see if they mention anything...

I knew that they had plans to monitor and track what people watched on tv - for the purpose of catering commercials that were displayed to a person's particular interests, but I wasn't aware that there was a law that prohibited that kind of thing for cable providers. Don't know how they're going to get away with that one...

Anyway, let me know when you're coming back to StL, but it better not be July 27-August 1 because I'll be in Boston! :-P
